We collect information necessary to provide a smooth, secure multi-vendor marketplace experience:

Account & Identity Data

Your full name, email address, password hash, role (buyer/vendor/admin), and profile preferences.

Store & Banking Data (Vendors)

Store name, contact telephone, business registration details, and bank account numbers (IBAN) for payment verification and disbursements.

Order & Shipping Data

Purchased products, order quantities, delivery addresses in Tbilisi or regions, recipient phone number, and bank transfer receipts.

Direct Store Communications

In-app messages exchanged between customers and vendors regarding item specifications, wholesale orders, and order status inquiries.

2How We Use Your Information

  • Order Fulfillment: Sharing delivery coordinates and recipient contact details with the selling vendor and couriers to complete dispatch.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Verifying bank transfers against order invoices to authorize product shipment.
  • Customer Support & Messaging: Connecting buyers with store owners for product questions, quotes, and returns.
  • Platform Integrity & Security: Detecting and combating fraud, unauthorized store setups, or spam.

3Automated 30-Day Messaging Data Retention Policy

Automatic Cleanup of Inactive Chats

To respect user privacy, minimize data footprint, and maintain optimal database security, customer-to-vendor direct messages and conversations older than 30 days are automatically deleted. If you require permanent copies of receipts or order confirmations, please retain the order summary email or order invoice.

4Cookies & Local Browser Storage

Bazaro uses client-side local storage and essential cookies strictly to maintain user sessions, save items in your Shopping Cart, and retain your Saved Wishlist. We do not sell your personal browsing habits to third-party ad brokers.

5Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is only shared in the following necessary contexts:

  • With Selling Vendors: Delivery address and recipient name are provided to the vendor fulfilling your order.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Secure database and authentication management hosted on high-security, ISO-certified cloud servers (Supabase / AWS).
  • Legal Compliance: When strictly required by law enforcement or competent courts in Georgia.

6Your Data Rights & Account Deletion

In accordance with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of your personal data held on our platform.
  • Request correction or rectification of incomplete or inaccurate records.
  • Request complete deletion (erasure) of your profile, account, or store registry.
